One showroom, 24 towns

Every project we take on starts from the same place: our showroom in downtown Natick Center, where Debsan has been since 1967. It is the only showroom this page speaks for, and it is where all of our lines come together, from Hunter Douglas window treatments and drapery fabrics to wallpaper, Benjamin Moore paint and flooring.

From there we travel to homes across MetroWest. These are the 24 towns we serve:

  • Around the showroom: Natick, Framingham, Wellesley, Newton, Ashland, Sherborn and Dover.
  • The inner belt: Brookline, Waltham, Weston, Wayland, Sudbury, Lincoln, Concord and Lexington.
  • The western edge: Hopkinton, Southborough, Westborough, Northborough and Marlborough.
  • Also served: Needham, Holliston, Medfield and Boston.

If your town is on this list, the free in-home consultation reaches you. You can start in the showroom and finish at home, or start at home and come in later to see a fabric or a flooring sample at full size.

How the in-home consultation works across MetroWest

The showroom is the best place to compare a fabric with a wallpaper and a paint colour. Your home is the best place to see whether they work. The free in-home consultation brings the two together: we arrive with samples, go through the rooms on your list and judge the windows, walls and floors in the light they actually get.

Measurement is part of that visit. Window sizes vary from house to house, and often from room to room in the same house, which is why we measure rather than guess. We look after the measuring and the installation, so the treatment that arrives is made for the window it is going on.

For a step-by-step account of the visit, see the in-home design consultation.

Homes across the territory

The towns on our list hold a great range of houses, and that range is what shapes the work. Close to the showroom there are Victorians and two-family houses near the centre, with post-war capes and ranches spreading out beyond them. Further out there are antique farmhouses with original openings, large colonials with tall sashes and bay windows, mid-century houses with walls of glass, and new construction that arrives with bare windows and nothing on the walls.

Each of those asks something different. An antique window with a deep sill needs careful sizing. A wall of west-facing glass raises the question of light and heat. A new build usually needs every room at once. A condominium may have rules about what can be seen from the street. We work through those questions at the consultation, house by house, rather than starting from a stock size.

Because every line comes from the same showroom, one consultation can cover the windows, the walls and the floor of a room together. That matters most on whole-house projects, where choosing a drapery fabric, a wallpaper and a paint colour in separate places makes it hard to see how they meet. We bring samples of each, so those decisions are made side by side in the room they are for.
